Invasive Procedures
- Cesarean Section (C-Section): Surgical delivery of a baby through an incision in the abdomen and uterus.
- Hysterectomy: Removal of the uterus to treat conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, or cancer.
- Laparoscopy: Minimally invasive surgery to diagnose and treat conditions like ovarian cysts or ectopic pregnancy.
- D&C (Dilatation and Curettage): Procedure to remove tissue from the lining of the uterus, often after miscarriage or abnormal bleeding.
- Endometrial Biopsy: Sampling of the uterine lining to diagnose abnormal bleeding or cancer.
